What are bulk pack upgrades? |
A |
In order to get our podcasts to you as soon as possible we may issue a bulk pack (ie as a ZIP file) of the latest podcasts in a new medical speciality before the entire set is complete.
For example; in the case of the Medicine MRCP, we released the initial 20 podcasts from the full set of 43, both as individual MP3 files, and also as a ZIP file bulk pack. The bulk pack was entitled:- "All 20 MRCP Podcasts (group A)(zip file)".
Later, when the full set of 43 podcasts were released, we issued a bulk pack entitled:- "All 43 MRCP Podcasts (zip file)". If you had not purchased the bulk pack of 20 podcasts then by ordering the bulk pack of 43 you would get the full set of 43. If, however, you had previously purchased the bulk pack of 20 podcasts then you would only wish to order the 23 newly released podcasts. The bulk pack of the 23 newly released podcasts is entitled:- "Upgrade pack of 23 MRCP Podcasts (group A>full set)(zip file)".
To order an Upgrade Pack simply select the full pack (in this case of 43) from the podcast list page. When you look at your shopping basket you will find that the relevant upgrade pack has been substituted automatically.
Our ordering system is aware of your previous purchases and can make this substitution for you. We do this to avoid cluttering the main podcast web page with all the possible upgrade option paths.
You will not loose any money making purchases in this way. In the case of the Medicine MRCP all of the bulk packs are priced at 75p per podcast (66p for Final FRCA) so the cost of buying the initial 20 followed by the 23 upgrade would be the same as the price of all 43.
So simply place an order for the full set and the ordering system will offer what you require.
